Matthew R. Price, M.D.
Dr. Price joined Ellis and Badenhausen Orthopaedics in 2010 and started the practice outpatient total joint replacement program in 2014. He is the first physician in the region who completed a Hip Preservation Fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Thomas Byrd at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Price utilizes a less invasive anterior hip approach for his total hip replacements, resulting in faster recovery time for his patients. He also specializes in complex revisions of total joints, and frequently presents and teaches nationally on his surgical specialties. Each year, Dr. Price has two fellows that rotate with him in the office and in the operating room while they train to become more proficient in joint reconstruction.
