He is also a clinical professor of orthopaedic surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine where he has been awarded Teacher of the Year. He has also held positions for many years on the University of Louisville Jewish Hospital Healthcare Services Board and as the Team Physician for University for Louisville Men's Soccer.
