Bracing Louisville

The Durable Medical Equipment department at Ellis and Badenhausen Orthopaedics is a quickly growing piece of our comprehensive Sports Medicine approach. This department allows our doctors to provide braces and orthotics in-house as a means of conservative treatment or as an adjunct to surgery. The DME department also provides ambulatory aids such as crutches, walkers, and knee scooters, as well as a variety of therapy aids and over-the-counter products such as foam rollers, TENS units, and Biofreeze.

Our DME department provides professional brace fitting and takes care of checking insurance benefits and pre-certification as a courtesy to our patients. Custom-fit bracing and orthotics are also available through this department. We strive to make the patient experience as easy and efficient as possible.
